Account Management

This guide covers everything you need to know about creating, managing, and maintaining your TeleSender account.

Creating an Account

Step 1: Visit the Registration Page

  1. Go to tele-sender.com
  2. Click "Get Started" or "Register" in the navigation

Step 2: Fill in Your Details

Enter the required information:

EmailValid email address (used for login and notifications)

Confirm PasswordMust match the password field

Step 3: Accept Terms

Before creating your account, review and accept:

Check the box to confirm you've read and agree to these terms.

Step 4: Verify Your Email

After registration:

  1. Check your email inbox for a verification message
  2. Click the verification link in the email
  3. You'll be redirected to the login page
  4. Log in with your new credentials
Check Spam Folder

If you don't receive the verification email within a few minutes, check your spam or junk folder. Add noreply@tele-sender.com to your contacts to prevent this.

Logging In

Standard Login

  1. Go to tele-sender.com/login
  2. Enter your registered email address
  3. Enter your password
  4. Click "Log In"

Login Troubleshooting

Forgot your password?

  1. Click "Forgot Password?" on the login page
  2. Enter your registered email address
  3. Check your email for reset instructions
  4. Click the reset link and create a new password

Account locked?

After multiple failed login attempts, your account may be temporarily locked. Wait 15 minutes and try again, or contact support.

Account Information

Viewing Your Account Details

  1. Log in to your dashboard
  2. Click "Settings" in the navigation
  3. Select "Profile"

Here you can view:

  • Your registered name
  • Email address
  • Account creation date
  • Avatar

Auto-Generated Avatar

When you create an account, TeleSender automatically generates a unique avatar for you using your initials. This avatar appears:

  • On your dashboard
  • In account settings
  • When using team features (if applicable)

Updating Your Profile

Change Your Name

  1. Go to SettingsProfile
  2. Click on the name field
  3. Enter your new name
  4. Click "Save Changes"

Change Your Email

Changing your email address requires verification:

  1. Go to SettingsProfile
  2. Enter your new email address
  3. Click "Save Changes"
  4. Check your new email for a verification link
  5. Click the link to confirm the change
Important

Until you verify your new email, you'll continue to log in with your old email address. Make sure you have access to the new email before changing it.

Regenerate Avatar

Want a fresh look? You can regenerate your avatar with a random style:

  1. Go to SettingsProfile
  2. Click "Regenerate Avatar"
  3. A new unique avatar is generated instantly

Account Security

Password Management

Keep your account secure with a strong password:

  1. Go to SettingsPassword
  2. Enter your current password
  3. Enter your new password (minimum 8 characters)
  4. Confirm the new password
  5. Click "Update Password"

Strong Password Tips:

  • Use at least 12 characters
  • Mix uppercase and lowercase letters
  • Include numbers and special characters
  • Avoid common words or personal information
  • Don't reuse passwords from other sites

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Add an extra layer of security to your account:

  1. Go to SettingsTwo-Factor Authentication
  2. Follow the setup wizard
  3. Scan the QR code with an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, etc.)
  4. Enter the verification code to confirm
  5. Save your backup codes in a secure location
Backup Codes

Store your 2FA backup codes safely. If you lose access to your authenticator app, these codes are the only way to regain access to your account.

Extension Authentication

Connecting the Chrome Extension

Your TeleSender web account connects to the Chrome extension:

  1. Install the TeleSender Chrome Extension
  2. Click the TeleSender icon in your browser
  3. Enter your email and password
  4. Click "Log In"

The extension stores an authentication token locally, keeping you logged in until you manually log out.

Syncing Account Status

The Chrome extension periodically syncs with your web account to:

  • Verify your subscription is active
  • Update available features based on your plan
  • Sync any settings changes

Multiple Devices

You can use TeleSender on multiple devices with the same account:

  • Each Chrome installation has its own session
  • Logging out on one device doesn't affect others
  • Subscription benefits apply across all your devices

Deleting Your Account

Permanent Action

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data will be permanently removed.

If you need to delete your account:

Before You Delete

Consider the following:

  • Active subscription? Cancel it first to avoid future charges
  • Payment history will be permanently deleted
  • Chrome extension will be logged out
  • Telegram sessions will be revoked

Deletion Steps

  1. Go to SettingsProfile
  2. Scroll to "Delete Account" section
  3. Enter your password to confirm your identity
  4. Click "Delete My Account"
  5. Confirm in the popup dialog

What Happens After Deletion

  • Immediate: You're logged out of all sessions
  • Your email can be used to create a new account
  • Subscription is automatically cancelled
  • All personal data is removed from our systems

Account Notifications

TeleSender sends important notifications to your email:

You cannot opt out of essential account notifications (payment confirmations, security alerts). These are required for account management.

API Authentication

For developers and advanced users, TeleSender uses token-based authentication:

How It Works

  1. Log in via the API with email/password
  2. Receive an authentication token (Laravel Sanctum)
  3. Include the token in subsequent API requests
  4. Token persists until you log out

Token Usage

The Chrome extension uses this token to:

  • Verify your subscription status
  • Access AI features (lead scoring, message generation)
  • Sync settings between web and extension

Troubleshooting

"Invalid Credentials" Error

Causes:

  • Incorrect email or password
  • Caps Lock enabled
  • Account doesn't exist

Solutions:

  1. Double-check your email address
  2. Use "Forgot Password" to reset
  3. Ensure you've verified your email after registration

"Email Already Registered"

Cause: An account with this email already exists.

Solutions:

  1. Use "Forgot Password" if you forgot your credentials
  2. Log in with existing account
  3. Contact support if you believe this is an error

"Account Not Verified"

Cause: You haven't clicked the verification link in your email.

Solutions:

  1. Check your inbox and spam folder
  2. Request a new verification email from the login page
  3. Contact support if you don't receive it

"Session Expired"

Cause: Your login session has timed out for security.

Solution: Log in again with your credentials.
